Delete your account

You can delete your Chrono account yourself, in the app, at any time.

In the app

• Go to your profile and tap the menu at the top right to open Settings ("Instellingen").
• Tap "Wachtwoord en beveiliging" (password and security).
• Tap "Account verwijderen" (delete account) and confirm with "Definitief verwijderen".

What is deleted

Immediately and permanently: your profile and profile photo, your posts with their photos and videos, your comments and reactions, your messages and the photos in them, who you follow and who follows you, your blocks, notifications, searches and problem reports. Our backups are overwritten within 7 days.

What is kept

Reports you made about others are kept as a record of our moderation, without a link to you. Messages you sent through the contact form are deleted after one year.

No access to the app?

Send us a message with the topic "Delete my account", from the email address of your account. We delete the account within one month and let you know when it's done.
